TV Schedule: Sunday, Dec. 13, 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS

Location: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.

Line: Kansas City (-11.5)

The San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs will meet during Week 14 of the 2015 NFL season with both teams going in different directions. The Chiefs are in the midst of a six-game winning streak and are clicking on all cylinders, while the Chargers would be happy to be clicking on one cylinder. With the Chiefs being 11.5-point favorites, you can probably guess who I will predict to win the game, but I’ll break down the game anyways because I’m a nice guy.

The Chiefs began the season losing five of their first six games and losing Jamaal Charles to a torn ACL in a Week 5 loss to the Chicago Bears. Everything seemed to be doom and gloom for Andy Reid‘s team, but then something clicked in Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The defense harassed Landry Jones all day long and came out with a 23-13 victory that started this impressive winning streak the Chiefs are currently on.

A big part of the Chiefs’ success has to be attributed to Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware who have filled in admirably for Charles. The Chargers rank 26th in the NFL in run defense which should mean a big game for the duo. That being said, look for Jeremy Maclin to have another solid outing as well as the Chargers have the league’s 21st-ranked pass defense.

As for the Chargers, they have been struggling immensely as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games. They can’t run the ball at all, as Melvin Gordon has been an extreme disappointment and the offensive line in front of him has been just as bad. Add in the fact that just about every receiving option that Philip Rivers has to throw to is dealing with an injury and you can understand why they haven’t been winning.

This game will get ugly early. The Chiefs are on another level right now, and Rivers doesn’t have the parts on offense to win in a shootout. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Chiefs win by 30 in a game that won’t be worth watching for most people.

Prediction: Kansas City 34, San Diego 13
