Line: Seattle -5

In Week 14 the Seattle Seahawks will travel to M&T Bank Stadium to face off against the Baltimore Ravens. The Seattle Seahawks enter this matchup with a record of 7-5 and the Ravens come into this contest with a 4-8 record. At the start of the season this game was scheduled for Sunday Night Football, but with slow starts from both teams, and an injury-riddled Ravens roster, they were flexed out of primetime and will instead be a part of the first wave of games Sunday morning.

The Seahawks are coming off of a dominating 38-7 win on the road against the Minnesota Vikings. This was a much anticipated showing from the Seahawks as they put together a great performance in all facets if the game.

The offense had another good showing putting up over 400 total yards. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for 274 yards and three touchdowns, and has really come into his own especially over the last three games where he has played some of the best football of his career. Wilson also ran for over 50 yards and had a touchdown with his legs.

The receiving corps saw big games from Doug Baldwin who had 94 yards and two touchdowns and rookie Tyler Lockett who had seven catches for 90 yards. Rookie running back Thomas Rawls ran for over 100 yards, and added a touchdown of his own.

Defensively the Seahawks seemed to get back to their old ways in dominating that side of the ball. They only allowed nine total first downs and 125 total yards. They were also able to rack up four sacks, two of which came from rookie Frank Clark who had a monster game. Seattle also forced a turnover, which came in the way of an interception by Earl Thomas.

Seattle was able to hold the league’s leading rusher in Adrian Peterson to only 18 yards on eight carries, and did not give up an offensive touchdown.

The Vikings were able to capitalize on the Seahawks only blunder of the game when Cordarrelle Patterson was able to take a kickoff 102 yards for the Vikings’ only points.

Baltimore lost a close one last week 15-13 on the road against the Miami Dolphins. Baltimore was able to put up over 350 yards of offense, with Matt Schaub throwing for over 300 yards. Javorius Allen also had a big day leading the team in rushing with 63 yards and in receiving catching 12 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.

The Baltimore defense was able to hold the Dolphins’ offense to just over 200 yards of total offense and only allowed Ryan Tannehill to throw for 86 yards. They did allow a big day on the ground however, letting Lamar Miller rush for 113 yards.

This should be a game that Seattle is able to win by a decent amount. With Baltimore being as injured as they are — losing quarterback Joe Flacco, running back Justin Forsett, wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. and linebacker Terrell Suggs to the injured reserve list — they likely will not have the firepower to hang with a Seahawks team that seems to be catching their late-season stride.

Prediction: Seattle 28, Baltimore 10
