Mark L. Baer - USA TODAY Sports
As we all saw last season, a single coaching decision can be the difference between winning and losing the Super Bowl. Having a great head coach gives you a better chance of succeeding in the postseason, period. Ranking this year’s playoff teams based on their head coaches, here is how each stacks up.

The Green Bay Packers have struggled for much of the first half against the Washington Redskins, but they are very much alive thanks to Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb.
The Washington Redskins look like they're on another level against the Green Bay Packers. Kirk Cousins has looked sharp, connecting with Jordan Reed on multiple occasions including this amazing one-handed catch. Later in the drive, Cousins would hit Reed again for a touchdown that gave the Redskins an 11-0 lead.

Aaron Rodgers isn't getting any protection from the Green Bay Packers' offensive line, and he paid the price by taking a safety against the Washington Redskins.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell sent a memo to the owners of all 32 franchises to outline the three applications from teams looking to relocate to Los Angeles.

The Seattle Seahawks were the beneficiaries of a missed field goal by Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh that will send them to Charlotte next week to face the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Divisional Round. One has to feel for Walsh who was the Vikings' only offense all afternoon long.
Amazingly, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin avoided an injury to his ACL and suffered only a high-ankle sprain in yesterday's win over the Texans.

There aren't too many quarterbacks who could make this play. Russell Wilson had to run 10-15 yards to recover the ball, then escape pressure and find a wide-open Tyler Lockett for the biggest play of the game. If the Seahawks win, this will be the turning point.
Doug Baldwin better catch than OBJ pic.twitter.com/jPYEC5gZ4B

The Seattle Seahawks' offense has been dominated all afternoon by the Minnesota Vikings' defense, but Doug Baldwin gave them a glimmer of hope with this insane one-handed snag. It's one of the lone offensive highlights from a game dominated by defense.
The Philadelphia Eagles failed to take the next step in an underachieving division. These five decisions should have shown early on that what happened on the field was inevitable.
