NFL Divisional Round Picks, Score Predictions

After a Wild Card weekend that had two close games and two that weren’t that close, the NFL playoffs now go on the Divisional Round with the top two seeds in each conference back in action. Here are my picks and score predictions for the Divisional Round.

Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots - 1/16/16 - 4:35 p.m. ET

The Chiefs have won 11 games in a row now, with a winning formula surrounding quarterback Alex Smith and a strong defense. The Patriots seem to have benefited from a week off, with injuries a growing concern as the regular season wound down, and they are nearly unbeatable at home.

Score Prediction: Patriots 24, Chiefs 13

Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals - 1/16/16 - 8:15 p.m. ET

This is the first of three regular season rematches on this weekend's slate, and it's also the most recent (a 38-8 Arizona win in Week 16). Things should be closer this time around, but the Cardinals have advantages virtually across the board.

Score Prediction: Cardinals 30, Packers 21

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers - 1/17/16 - 1:05 p.m. ET

The aura of invincibility surrounding the Seahawks at home was broken by the Panthers back in Week 6, as Cam Newton engineered a fourth-quarter comeback. The venue will change this time around, but a similarly down-to-the-wire outcome is surely coming.

Score Prediction: Panthers 20, Seahawks 17

Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos - 1/17/16 - 4:40 p.m. ET

The Steelers have multiple key offensive players banged up, with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder), wide receiver Antonio Brown (concussion) and running DeAngelo Williams (foot) all looking iffy to play on Sunday. The Broncos should be well-rested after a bye week, and they should be as healthy as they can be.

Score Prediction: Broncos 23, Steelers 19

ESPN's Adam Schefter Savagely Insults Cleveland Browns On TV

Everyone knows the Cleveland Browns haven't been incredibly successful since they made their triumphant comeback in 1999. But things in Cleveland seem to be getting worse, as they have a ton of holes to fill and have been a complete no-show in NFL free agency. ESPN's Adam Schefter dropped a #truthbomb about the Browns on television today, and it was glorious.
