The Buffalo Bills had a somewhat disappointing season, but still had some bright spots despite missing out on the postseason. Let’s have a look at five of their best players from 2015.
5. RB LeSean McCoy

It may not have been McCoy’s best season, but the veteran running back had a major impact on the Bills’ offense when he was on the field. If healthy, McCoy would have been one of the league’s leading rushers and he transitioned well into Rex Ryan’s ground-and-pound offense. Without McCoy, the team’s offense would have been much worse.

4. WR Sammy Watkins

Watkins continued to take strides in his second season and he posted over 1,000 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He managed this despite being injured for parts of the season and not having a reliable No. 2 receiver across from him. He will continue to grow for the team, and definitely established himself as an elite young talent.

3. S Corey Graham

In his first full season at safety, Graham was nothing short of spectacular. He managed to lead the Bills in tackles with 127, a ridiculous number for a safety, while contributing to the success of the team’s secondary. He was excellent in all areas and was the glue that held the back end of the defense together.

2. QB Tyrod Taylor

Nobody expected Taylor to do as well as he did. The quarterback completed 63 percent of his passes and tossed 20 touchdowns to only six interceptions. His scrambling ability made him a threat and he kept the Bills in games for most of the season. For the first time in some time, it looks like the Bills may have an above-average quarterback leading their team.

1. CB Ronald Darby

Many questioned the Bills’ selection of Ronald Darby in the draft, but he certainly paid dividends as a rookie. Darby was third on the team with 61 tackles and became a second shutdown corner for the team across from Stephon Gilmore. He had 21 pass defenses, and will only get better as time goes on.
