New details have emerged from last week’s incident in which Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel was investigated by Dallas and Fort Worth police for an altercation between he and his girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, and they are nothing short of horrifying.

An argument broke out between the two about another woman while at Hotel Zaza in the early morning hours of Saturday, Jan. 30. According to WFAA News 8’s Rebecca Lopez, Manziel forced Crowley into his car, and subsequently attempted to drive her to her own vehicle.
After forcing her into his car , Manziel allegedly told Crowley:
“Shut up or I’ll kill us both.”
After Crowley jumped out of the car, Manziel reportedly found her hiding in some bushes.
“He grabbed me by my hair and threw me back into the car and got back in himself,” Crowley told the police, per News 8. “He hit me with his open hand on my left ear for jumping out of the car. I realized immediately that I could not hear out of that ear, and I still cannot today, two days later.”
Both the Dallas and Fort Worth police departments had a hand in investigating the case. Dallas PD announced Thursday evening that Manziel, 23, won’t be facing charges.

Fort Worth PD released a similar statement not long after.
Ft. Worth police also now say no offense occurred in its jurisdiction, and there is no criminal investigation against Johnny Manziel.

Football should be the last thing on Manziel’s mind currently, as he’s clearly still abusing alcohol and perhaps drugs, according to Crowley, who said he was either “on drugs, or having a psychotic breakdown.”
If/when Manziel gets his act together, chances are he will have an incredibly difficult time finding work, as a significant suspension is looming.

Let’s hope this is the last negative story that breaks about Manziel as he’s heading down a dangerous path, and could end up seriously hurting someone in the future if this behavior continues.
