Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was in Philadelphia this weekend partying on the night before the Super Bowl. According to TMZ, McCoy and some friends were at the Recess Lounge at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday morning when things got serious.

McCoy was reportedly upset that three off-duty cops received their champagne prior to him and his crew receiving theirs and an argument ensued. McCoy and former NFL running back Curtis Brinkley allegedly became enraged and began assaulting the two officers.

Two of the three cops reportedly suffered some pretty significant injuries — including a fractured skull, broken ribs and a broken nose. McCoy has yet to be arrested, but he and Brinkley are at the center of the police investigation.

McCoy played six seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles prior to getting traded last offseason to the Bills. This isn’t the first time he’s been accused of assault after an incident involving a party bus where he was sued for allegedly punching a woman in the face.
