Von Miller And 4 Denver Broncos Who Deserve New Contracts After Super Bowl 50 Win

While the Denver Broncos are certainly going to enjoy their Super Bowl 50 win for a long while, there are going to be some interesting decisions to make for general manager John Elway when it comes to contract extensions this offseason. There are a number of players with expiring contracts, but these five guys, in particular, are the ones who deserve a long-term deal the most.

5. RB C.J. Anderson

Anderson is a restricted free agent this offseason, but that doesn't make the urge to re-sign him any less necessary. With Ronnie Hillman becoming an unrestricted free agent, Anderson should be the guy to lead the Broncos' backfield for at least the next few seasons.

4. LB Danny Trevathan

Trevathan finished the 2015 NFL season as the Broncos' leading tackler after racking up 109 combined stops. He's the man in the middle of the best defense in the league, and he needs to receive a contract extension from the team.

3. DT Malik Jackson

Jackson is the Broncos' best defensive lineman and he just turned 26 years old. He recorded five tackles and recovered a fumble for a touchdown in Super Bowl 50. It's not going to be cheap, but the Broncos need to keep Jackson.

2. QB Brock Osweiler

Osweiler showed enough this season to warrant an extension that will make him the quarterback of the Broncos for the foreseeable future. If Elway chooses to let him walk, there's no telling who would end up running the show for the defending Super Bowl champions.

Miller earned Super Bowl MVP honors after recording 2.5 sacks and forcing two fumbles. He was unblockable in the playoffs and likely earned himself a massive long-term deal with the Broncos.
