Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller had one of the greatest postseasons for a defensive player in recent memory. In three games, the former No. 2 overall pick recorded five sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception as he led the Broncos to a victory in Super Bowl 50.
Unfortunately for the team, Miller is a free agent this offseason and could command the largest salary for a defensive player in NFL history, which could force the Broncos to let him test the open market. If so, these five teams will definitely have interest.
5. Indianapolis Colts
Getty ImagesThe Colts are only one season removed from making the AFC Championship Game and they nearly made the playoffs in 2015 with Matt Hasselbeck leading the charge. Adding a player like Miller would certainly put the Colts into the discussion of one of the top AFC contenders.
4. San Diego Chargers
Getty ImagesThe Chargers desperately need a pass rush and Miller is the top guy on the board. Not only would he improve the Chargers, but it would make the Broncos worse, which is a double whammy.
3. Houston Texans
Getty ImagesWith the injury questions surrounding Jadeveon Clowney, the Texans would be a near perfect fit because of the 3-4 scheme that they run, the almost $30 million in salary cap room and the fact that Miller is from Texas.
2. Chicago Bears
Getty ImagesThe Bears have over $56 million in cap space and will be looking to upgrade a middle-of-the-road defense. Miller could also be interested in joining forces with former head coach John Fox.
1. Oakland Raiders
Getty ImagesThe Raiders are currently expected to be $74 million under the projected $154 million salary cap, which makes them serious players for their division rival's best defensive player. Could you imagine Miller playing opposite of Khalil Mack?
