The Houston Texans are hoping to build off of their playoff berth in 2015. While they managed to come away with a 9-7 record, they still have plenty of flaws that need to be taken care of this offseason. The Texans have a good opportunity to solve their five biggest needs in the upcoming draft.

5. Wide Receiver

Outside of DeAndre Hopkins, the Texans did not have a talented bunch of receivers. For this reason, they should look for another wideout option in the draft. The Texans did draft Jaelen Strong in 2015 but could use an additional receiver in 2016.

4. Tight End

The Texans’ tight ends were not big targets in 2015. Their top three tight ends combined for just 41 catches, 448 receiving yards and four touchdowns. They can definitely find better upgrades at the position in this year's draft.

3. Defensive Tackle

The Texans relied on an aging Vince Wilfork at nose tackle in 2015. Also, they still do not have anyone who can take pressure off of J.J. Watt. A new defensive tackle will help their cause and create better depth along their defensive line.

2. Running Back

With the Texans expected to cut ties with Arian Foster, they need to find a young prospect to replace him. The team might get a back in free agency, but they still need to draft a future starter. There are plenty of solid backs in this year's draft.

1. Quarterback

The Texans need to draft a quarterback they can groom into a full-time starter. While Brian Hoyer was serviceable last year, injuries and inconsistency are beginning to haunt the veteran. Houston must prepare for the future by taking a young QB.
