By Jacob Camenker

The Seattle Seahawks got hot towards the end of last season but ultimately failed to reach the Super Bowl for the first time since 2013. They still have a strong team but will need to make some upgrades in the draft. Here’s a look at some of the players they may be interested in.

Marshawn Lynch is officially retired so the team needs to add a complement to Thomas Rawls. Henry, the Heisman winner, will be a great fit for the team with a tough style that is similar to Lynch's.

Brandon Mebane is going to be a free agent this offseason, and the Seahawks need to replace him. Washington may not make it to their pick, but if he does Seattle will take him. He gets great penetration up front and should be a solid NFL starter.

Bruce Irvin will likely leave the Seahawks in free agency, and the team will look to replace him with another athletic linebacker. Ngakoue fits the bill and his pass rush ability will make him a perfect replacement for Irvin.

Round 4: CB Maurice Canady – Virginia

Losing Byron Maxwell to free agency really hurt the team last year. They need to look for additional depth to help one of their weaknesses, and Canady has the size that Seattle covets. He is still a work in progress, though.

Round 7: OT John Theus – Georgia

The Seahawks have a major hole at right tackle as Garry Gilliam played poorly last season. Couple that with Russell Okung being a free agent, and the team needs to add a tackle. Theus is another project, but he has size that may impress Seattle.

Round 7: WR D’Haquille “Duke” Williams – Auburn

The Seahawks may take a flier on Williams here. They could use an extra receiving weapon, and Williams would have been a day two pick had he not been kicked off the Auburn team. Seattle's taken troubled prospects before, so this would be nothing new.
