Now that the 2015 NFL season is officially over, fans can now focus on keeping an eye out on college prospects who could possibly play a big hand in helping their favorite teams for the upcoming 2016 year. There are a lot of positions that the Chicago Bears need to address during this offseason, and some of the prospects can actually be mainstays on the Bears’ roster for years to come. Here are the five positions Chicago should focus on during this year’s scouting combine.
5. Quarterback

Even if Jay Cutler does have another productive season, the soon-to-be 33-year-old can’t be looked upon to be the man under center for much longer. The Bears should think hard about solidifying the team’s most important position for the future.
4. Guard

The inconsistent play of Vladimir Ducasse raised major concern along the Bears’ O-line. With Matt Slauson and Patrick Omameh rounding out the depth chart at guard, Chicago could definitely use some bodies in the interior in case of injuries.
3. Cornerback

In 2014, the Bears drafted cornerback Kyle Fuller in the first round. Fuller still has tons of potential to be tapped into, and adding another cornerback to complement Fuller’s play in defending the passing game would greatly help.
2. Offensive Tackle

The Bears should seriously consider upgrading the protection on Cutler’s blindside along the O-line. Jermon Bushrod's play has declined, and there will be a lot of talent in this year’s draft better than Charles Leno Jr.
1. Inside Linebacker

Targeting an inside linebacker should be high on the Bears’ priority list. Shea McClellin and Christian Jones both had solid seasons, but the Bears' 22nd ranked run defense needs a lot of help going into 2016.
