By Kyle Nishida

The Seattle Seahawks had an up and down 2015, but they continued their recent trend of finishing the regular season strong. 5. Running Back

With Marshawn Lynch retiring, there is a big hole to fill in the backfield. The Seahawks do have Thomas Rawls, but he is coming back from a severe ankle injury. The team should draft some running back insurance in case Rawls’ recovery is slow.

Brandon Mebane and Ahtyba Rubin are entering free agency this offseason. Rather than re-sign them, the Seahawks will most likely look to replace the veterans. This draft would be a perfect spot to find solid replacements.

Doug Baldwin, Tyler Lockett and Jermaine Kearse had breakout seasons, but Kearse is entering free agency. If the Seahawks let Kearse walk, they should look to replace him with one of the many hidden gems available in this draft class.

The experiment with Cary Williams did not go as planned in 2015, and as a result, the Seahawks are looking for another cornerback. Rather than gamble in free agency, the Seahawks should pick from the young, talented 2016 cornerback class.

The Seahawks need to get Russell Wilson some protection. Left tackle Russell Okung is entering free agency, which means his and other starting spots could be open along the team’s offensive line. They need to fill them with draft picks.
