Von Miller Unrealistically Suggests Johnny Manziel Could Land With Denver Broncos

It’s a foregone conclusion that Johnny Manziel will be cut by the Cleveland Browns as soon as possible, and his NFL future is at best up in the air. Some teams may view Manziel as a reclamation project worth taking on, but he’ll have to fix his off-field issues and show a commitment to football that he has not shown to this point for even a minimal risk to pay off.

Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller has taken a media tour over the last month, and he recently did a feature story and Q&A with GQ magazine. Manziel apparently came up during the conversation, and Miller continued to show support for his fellow Texas A&M alum.

“Not only will he be back in the league—of course I’m biased—I still feel like he has a lot of game left in him,” Miller said of Manziel in his interview with GQ. “I feel like the world hasn’t even seen him get down yet. Some of the stuff he was doing in college, he gonna do the exact same thing in the National Football League. I feel like—you know you never want to blame a team—I don’t think he had enough support around him. Who knows? You might see Johnny Manziel in Denver.”

On the surface Denver would be a good situation for Manziel, with a solid organizational structure and the likelihood he can step into a low-pressure backup role. But I don’t see John Elway leading any sort of effort to give Manziel a second chance with the Broncos, even with a potential endorsement from Miller.

Broncos' Von Miller Makes Debut On 'Dancing With The Stars'

Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller made his debut on 'Dancing With The Stars' on Monday night, and it was interesting to say the least. A number of Miller's teammates were in attendance cheering him on, and the Internet subsequently lost its mind after he and partner Witney Carson were finished. Stay tuned, folks.
