With the news that Robert Griffin III will sign, and the relative certainty they will draft someone early, Josh McCown is now the odd-man out at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. In a quarterback market that has more demand than good supply, here are five teams that could trade for McCown.
5. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs lost Chase Daniel to the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency, and it's unclear if they're fully committed to 2014 draft pick Aaron Murray as their No. 2 quarterback. McCown would at least be an experienced backup to Alex Smith.
4. Oakland Raiders

Derek Carr is firmly in place as Oakland's starter, but the options behind him right now (Matt McGloin, Garrett Gilbert) are uninspiring to say the least. McCown would at least be a competent fill-in if Carr were to miss time.

McCown had his career year in 2013 with the Chicago Bears, when Ravens offensive coordinator Marc Trestman was the Bears' head coach. Joe Flacco is working his way back from a torn ACL, and though he's expected to be ready for Week 1, Baltimore could reinforce their backup options by acquiring McCown.

Virtually any available signal-caller should be on the Broncos' radar, so a report from Mike Klis of 9News that McCown is now on their "speculative list" is not surprising. Competition for Mark Sanchez will be added, and McCown entering the final year of his contract makes him a viable trade target for Denver.

The Jets' stalemate with Ryan Fitzpatrick is ongoing, and ESPN.com's Rich Cimini has already reported their possible interest in McCown. Re-signing Fitzpatrick is still possible, but it's easy to see the Jets now turning their attention toward McCown.
