Johnny Manziel is on a severe downward spiral and it seems there’s no end in sight. Every time you turn around, there he is out partying and he doesn’t seem very concerned about it. Many people close to him are worried that something catastrophic is bound to happen if he doesn’t get the help he needs soon.

A number of people have reportedly reached out to Manziel to offer help, with the latest being former WWE superstar Jake “The Snake“ Roberts. Roberts was addicted to alcohol and drugs four years ago and admits that he was “ready to die” before former protege Diamond Dallas Page saved his life.

Roberts now wants to return the favor by helping Manziel.

“I’ve also been reaching out to Johnny Manziel many times. He’s not coming along, but I’ll keep reaching out. I just wonder how much more he’s going to have to suffer before he does something about it. He just made the news again. I’ve been there, I understand, so that’s why I wish he would contact me. I wish I could give him some pointers and maybe I could help him out.”

Roberts continued:

“Addiction is a battle, but you can beat it,” Roberts said. “You need to keep going — if you fall, get back up. I certainly fell a few times, but I did not give up. The whole world is affected by addiction and alcoholism, and so many of us avoid that person and write them off.”

Whether it’s Roberts or someone else, Manziel desperately needs to accept help before it’s too late. He may think he’s having the time of his life, but a person can only handle so much of this before something goes wrong. Hopefully, someone can get through to Manziel soon.
