The Indianapolis Colts received a rude awakening in 2015 when they failed to win a rather mediocre AFC South and ended up missing the playoffs. Despite having Andrew Luck, the Colts have plenty of glaring needs on their roster and need to make a wise choice in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. With pick No. 18 overall, the Colts need to land one of these five players.
5. Cody Whitehair, OG, Kansas State

Taking Whitehair 18th overall would be a stretch, but an offensive guard is what the Colts need to boost their offensive line. Whitehair is arguably the best available at that position, so if all else fails, taking Whitehair may not be a bad choice.
4. Noah Spence, LB, Eastern Kentucky

Spence isn't the perfect pick due to his character issues and the fact that he's not an ideal fit for a 3-4 defense. However, the Colts need a pass rusher, and if he's available, Spence could be worth the risk when it's Indy's turn to make its pick.
3. Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama

The offensive line is the Colts' other big need, making Kelly an option. Indy doesn't necessarily need a center, but they could shift some things around to make room for him and undoubtedly get better up front if they were to draft Kelly.
2. Leonard Floyd, LB, Georgia

The Colts' biggest need in this draft may be an outside pass rusher, and Floyd is one of the few players who can fill that need for Indy in the first round. If he's available when the Colts pick at No. 18 overall, it'll be hard to pass on him.

Elliott is unlikely to still be available at No. 18 overall, but if he is, he'd be perfect for the Colts. Indianapolis needs a young running back to help support Andrew Luck, and Elliott would be a welcomed addition to the team's offensive arsenal.
