After the Minnesota Vikings won the NFC North and the Green Bay Packers made it to the playoffs as the Wild Card, the Chicago Bears might be in one of the most difficult divisions to win in the NFL. Almost every game will be crucial for the Bears if they want to stay in the hunt to win the division. Here are the five biggest games on Chicago’s 2016 schedule.

Sept. 11 at Houston Texans — A road game with last year’s AFC South winners might sound like a daunting matchup, but this is a winnable opening game for the Bears.

Oct. 2 vs. Detroit Lions — If the Bears lose their home game with the Lions, it would take a miracle for this team to make the playoffs. Things are going to be that close in the NFC North.

Nov. 13 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers — This road game against a team with rising young players on offense and a solid defense comes before four games that are clearly winnable. Coming out of the bye week strong could propel the Bears to a nice mid-season winning streak.

Jan. 1 at Minnesota Vikings — In the last game of the regular season, the playoffs could be on the line as the Bears travel to face the Vikings.

Dec. 18 vs. Green Bay Packers — Winning both games against the Packers would be ideal, but the much more winnable matchup is at Soldier Field.
