The Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2015 season ended in disappointment in large part due to injuries, but 2016 looks far more bright. It should be no surprise that the majority of their most important games are going to come against AFC opposition, as winning the AFC North will be their No. 1 priority in 2016. Here are the five biggest games on the Steelers’ 2016 schedule.

Sept. 12 at Washington Redskins — The Redskins made the playoffs last season and could easily do so in 2016. Oh, and Josh Norman and Antonio Brown will face off, making this a must-watch game

Sept. 18 vs. Cincinnati Bengals — Things got ugly between the Steelers and the other playoff team from the AFC North last year. A big win over this bitter rival could set the tone for the remainder of the season.

Nov. 6 at Baltimore Ravens — The Baltimore Ravens are not expected to take a major step forward in 2016, but road games in the AFC North are unpredictable. Coming out of the bye week, a road victory would be huge for the Steelers.

Dec. 18 at Cincinnati Bengals — Exactly two months from their first matchup, the Steelers will travel to face the Bengals. With the other teams in the AFC North expected to be beatable, winning this game could all but clinch the division.

Oct. 23 vs New England Patriots — In what could be a potential preview of the AFC Championship game, there will be no bigger game on the schedule this season for Pittsburgh than the showdown with Tom Brady and at home.
