The 2016 NFL Draft kicks off tomorrow night from Chicago and there’s still plenty of chatter being passed around NFL circles. While the insiders and experts do their best to keep us up to date on the latest rumors, no one knows for sure exactly what will happen and there are always a couple surprises. Let’s take a look at five prospects who are projected to go in the second round who could end up sneaking into Round 1.

5. DE Emmanuel Ogbah, Oklahoma State

The fact that people continue to sleep on Ogbah baffles me. He's still learning the position, but the kid is a tireless worker and has a constant motor which is tough to find these days. With a good defensive line coach, Ogbah will be a steal.

4. NT Andrew Billings, Baylor

At one point, Billings was a top-15 pick, but he's slid and now some teams reportedly believe he's a third-round pick. I still believe in this kid because of his strength and power which gives him a shot to go in the first round.

3. LB Su'a Cravens, USC

Cravens is a smallish linebacker who looks more like a strong safety. That being said, he can cover a lot of ground and he packs a punch. Cravens is a playmaker on defense and reminds me a lot of Troy Polamalu.

2. S/LB Jeremy Cash, Duke

Cash is a hybrid player who can play safety and linebacker. His specialty is playing in the box and blowing up the running game, but some teams may pass on him because he's a tweener. The Panthers have two tweeners in Shaq Thompson and Thomas Davis.

1. QB Connor Cook, Michigan State

There is a quarterback shortage in the NFL and that could benefit Cook who would be lucky to be taken in the second round in a normal year. The Broncos are one team that I could see taking Cook and letting him sit behind Mark Sanchez for a year.
