Cal Football Team Goes Nuts After Los Angeles Rams Select Jared Goff At No. 1 Overall

The University of California typically doesn’t receive a ton of national attention, but all eyes were on the Golden Bears on Thursday night as they watched one of their own make history. Former quarterback Jared Goff was selected at No. 1 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams, and a roomful of college football players subsequently  lost their collective mind.


Say what you will about the NCAA, as at times the criticism is warranted. But there’s something to be said for the brotherhood that develops among student athletes, that can’t be diminished.
