It seems like forever since the New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl, but that’s okay because it’s seems to have left so much of a mark in the hearts of Saints fans that they haven’t lost their patience. Truthfully, they aren’t that far away from contention. The offense is there. They just need to figure out how to stop someone, and if they can win some of their big games along the way, it wouldn’t hurt.

You have to win in your division and beat your rivals. If these two teams can play at a high level, this rivalry could be fun. In this contest, we may get an idea of who the second best team in the NFC South truly is. It's also a Monday night game.

Arizona has become one of the benchmarks in the NFC. If the Saints are going to get back to being one of the dominant teams in the conference, they're going to have to win games like this one. This could be important as we approach playoff time.

Carolina is now one of the favorites and the class of the NFC. They haven't had divisional opponents put up any consistent opposition. If the Saints want the top spot in the division back, they have to beat Carolina.

Did I mention how important it is that the Saints beat Carolina? This will be their second matchup of the 2016 season. It's also a road game for the Saints, could have playoff implications, and will be played on national television.
