When an anonymous scout offered criticism of Ohio State cornerback Eli Apple‘s “life skills” in the days leading up to the 2016 NFL Draft, his mom came to his defense on Twitter. Now that her son has been drafted No. 10 overall by the New York Giants, Annie Apple offered a message to a certain demographic that may be pursuing him.

That message invites some questions, but it can be assumed some of the aforementioned “thirsty girls” have already pursued the Giants’ first-round pick via social media. For his part, Eli offered a solid response to his mom’s tweet on the matter.
