They have a lot of talent in their front seven on defense, and should be able to producing a better running game. There will likely be a change in philosophy from the fast-paced offense of the previous regime, which might be best for their personnel.

Ryan Matthews — Matthews is a talented running back, and will likely get plenty of chances to prove himself. He must stay healthy, as it is likely that they will run a ball-control type of offense.

Jordan Hicks — Hicks was one of the top defensive rookies last season before an injury cut his season short. He will be expected to take on an even bigger role, and will be one of the team’s most important players.

Eric Rowe — Rowe has a lot of potential and the Eagles need playmakers at cornerback. He will likely get his chance to win a starting position, and needs to prove that he can compete against the best wide receivers.

Sam Bradford — Bradford will likely be the starting quarterback, although he will have his work cut out for him to keep the position. He must show that he is capable of handling the pressure and being more consistent.

Fletcher Cox — Cox signed a huge contract and will now play for one of the top defensive coordinators in the game. If he can stay healthy and keep improving, he should be one of the most dominant linemen in the NFL this season.
