Kirk Cousins Asks Washington Redskins Owner Daniel Snyder For a Trade

By Anthony Blake

Despite having a $23.94 million franchise tender on the table, Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins is not comfortable with his lack of long-term security and wants to get out.

But after reportedly asking owner Daniel Snyder to be traded, the QB was told not to get his hopes up.

While the San Francisco 49ers certainly make sense from a coaching standpoint, with Kyle Shanahan now the head coach, bad blood between the two organizations over Kyle’s father’s time in Washington could make any dealing arduous at best.

They always say that personal beefs shouldn’t dictate professional behavior, but in the NFL, at least this time, it appears they just may.
