Tony Romo Thanks Dallas Cowboys Fans In Emotional Farewell Video

By Timothy Downs

Whether he’s traded or released, it’s clear that longtime Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo‘s tenure with the only franchise he’s ever played for will soon be coming to an end.

On Thursday afternoon, Romo, 36, posted a heartfelt farewell video thanking fans for all their support via Twitter.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to come to tell you it’s been a crazy 48 hours here. Me and my family have felt the outpouring of love and support from you. It’s been overwhelming and you know it doesn’t go unnoticed. So I want to say thank you and we have a lot to think about here going forward but we’ll see what happens. Until it happens going to keep on listening to Bob Dylan.

Last week, it appeared as if the Denver Broncos were Romo’s most likely landing spot. But things changed on Thursday when the Houston Texans traded big-time disappointment Brock Osweiler to the Cleveland Browns.

Now, whispers that are vociferous in tone suggest Romo is essentially guaranteed to join the Texans in Houston.

If he can stay healthy, there’s no denying Romo can still be incredibly productive in the NFL. But nothing can currently make leaving Dallas any easier…
