Chad Ochocinco Catches 41-Yard TD In First Mexican Football Game

By Timothy Downs

Longtime Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson aka Chad Ochocinco hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2011., but that doesn’t mean he’s finished with football at 39 years old.

Ochocinco recently agreed to play one game in Mexico for the Monterrey Fundidores in order to gin up some buzz for Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional, which has struggled mightily since its inception in 2016.

On Monday, Ochocinco caught a 41-yard touchdown pass after getting wide open against a sub-par defensive back.

Ochocinco clearly enjoyed his time in Mexico, but apparently had a difficult time finding people to play FIFA 17 with him south of the border.

Aside from the aforementioned game in Mexico he participated in, Ochocinco played in the CFL for the Montreal Alouttes in 2014 and 2015, but is now a free agent.

Love him or hate him, there’s no denying Chad is an incredibly entertaining character…
