Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones May Have Ulterior Motive for NFL Allowing Marijuana

By Anthony Blake

Dating back to the 1990s when his Dallas Cowboys teams were the poster child for the NFL‘s “just win” culture, Jerry Jones has been in favor of allowing the players to have more personal freedom.

And if you go by his recent stance on the league’s marijuana policy, apparently not much has changed.

Most will remember those great teams for having some characters who had more than a few missteps off the field, and this current Cowboys team also has a couple of not so upstanding citizens.

From Ezekiel Elliott exposing a woman earlier this offseason to Dak Prescott being arrested for DUI before the draft last year, it’s clear not much has changed from a roster-building standpoint.

Maybe that’s the primary motive behind Jerry’s pro-weed stance…
