Video Of Tony Romo's 23 Career Fourth-Quarter Comebacks Should Silence His Haters

By Timothy Downs

On Tuesday, it was announced that longtime Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will be released and is expected to retire from the NFL.

Romo is reportedly slated to take Phil Simms‘ place paired with Jim Nantz (hello, friends!) on CBS football broadcasts.

Now that Romo’s playing career appears to be over for good, he’s finally starting to garner the tremendous respect he deserves for what can only be described as an impressive career.

The NFL Twitter feed has been laden with Romo memories all day. Check out all 23 of Romo’s fourth-quarter comebacks in the video below.

You can also relive every touchdown pass Romo ever threw to WR Terrell Owens.

As well as that time Romo pulled an escape act against Houston Texans star J.J. Watt.

Thank you, Tony!
