Apparently no one filled Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten in on the out-clause in recently retired quarterback Tony Romo‘s contract with CBS.
Though the QB still has plenty of flexibility to make a return to the NFL, his former favorite target wanted to express some gratitude for the years the spent together.

All of those thoughts are touching, but few are sold on the prospect of Romo actually being retired for good.
Still remembered mostly for what he failed to do rather than his accomplishments, that complicated legacy could bring the signal-caller back to the locker room with Witten to rekindle the magic.
