NFL Likely to Fine Players Involved in Las Vegas Arm Wrestling Tournament

By Anthony Blake

The NFL experiment in Las Vegas has gotten off to a bit of a bumpy start, with current and former players involved in an arm wrestling tournament at the center of attention.

Among the current players likely to be fined for their participation in said event are Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison and center Maurkice Pouncey, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Navorro Bowman, Oakland Raiders punter Marquette King and defensive end Mario Edwards, New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung, and Dallas Cowboys receiver Lucky Whitehead.

The likely soon-to-be-unretired Marshawn Lynch also participated, but he’s not currently subject to league discipline.

This is probably going to be the first of many off-field endeavors that the league deems to be inappropriate in sin city.

It’s going to be a reprimand nightmare for Roger Goodell.
