Pittsburgh Steelers Owner Dan Rooney Leaves Legacy Beyond the Field

With a naturally inviting demeanor and humble attitude, Dan Rooney leaves behind a legacy that will be impossible to duplicate after his passing at the age of 84.

The Pittsburgh Steelers organization has enjoyed remarkable consistency thanks to the values and attributes sought out and instilled in the players by Mr. Rooney.

Former players have offered touching stories, kind words, and mostly just sadness that such a tremendous human being is no longer with us on this earth.

Though it will be hard to move on, expect the Steelers to play inspired football for the man who got to know each and every player who put on a black and gold uniform.
