OJ Simpson Up for Parole Hearing After Spending Past Decade in Nevada Prison

By Anthony Blake

Now 70 years old, OJ Simpson is eligible for a parole hearing that could see him set free after serving nine years at the Lovelock Correctional Facility in Nevada.

He’s been there since December 2008 when he was convicted on several felonies in relationship to a memorabilia scandal, including first degree kidnapping, armed robbery, and conspiracy to commit a violent crime.

The sad story of this once 2,000-yard rusher in the NFL has been all of his own making.

But now as he enters his twilight years, perhaps the man once acquitted of double murders has learned from his mistakes.
