The big money went to Mike Glennon this offseason, but the Chicago Bears may soon come to regret their initial investment in free agency and hand the keys over to rookie Mitchell Trubisky under center.
Heck, Glennon looked more like the guy he was brought in the replace, Jay Cutler, than any kind of savior in his preseason debut.

Meanwhile, the first-round pick Trubisky looked pretty darn impressive in his first preseason action.

Trubisky went 4-for-4 on his opening drive, including this touchdown to veteran wideout Victor Cruz.
It’s likely to be a long season in Chicago regardless of who’s playing quarterback, so turning their attention to the future may not be such a bad plan from the start.
