Sean Payton & Adrian Peterson Fight During Saints' Week 1 Loss to Vikings

Surely it was important to Adrian Peterson to show his former team that he still had something left in the tank in Week 1.

Unfortunately, the New Orleans Saints could never get out of their own way against the Minnesota Vikings, leaving Peterson to exchange words with head coach Sean Payton.

It’s often hard for veteran players who are used to being featured on offense to accept a reduced role, so Peterson not being pleased about just six carries for a measly 18 yards in his Saints debut is no surprise.

Trouble is, this type of in-fighting could divide a team if it persists, so it’s time these two sat down and had a man-to-man discussion.
