Pregame Notes: Miller out

By Alex Bussani

Starting with the big news first: Ryan Miller is out of tonight’s game with an upper body injury. Sabres’ GM Darcy Reiger has said that his status is day-to-day at this point. This is likely an injury he sustained midway through the Toronto game last night when a puck struck his shoulder and he had trouble getting back to form. He eventually finished the game. That being said, Jhonas Enroth gets the start tonight. He has a 5-2-1 record for Buffalo this season, along with a .906% save percentage and 2.78 goals-against average.

Other scratches for the Sabres’ include Leopold, Grier, and Kaleta who are injured, and Morrisonn and Hecht who appear to be healthy scratches.

The puck is about to drop at HSBC Arena momentarily.
