Panthers Finish Season Strongly

The Panthers concluded their season Saturday night, as they hosted the top seeded team in the Eastern Conference, Washington.

This game was filled with positives for Florida, from the net out. Tomas Vokoun returned to action, shutting out one of the most dynamic offenses in the NHL today. He stopped all 6 of Alex Ovechkin’s shots en route to his 6th shutout of the season.

Bill Thomas got the games lone goal, it was his 4th of the season. It’s worth noting that Rismiller and Kennedy each picked up their first points this season with the 2 assists on the goal.

Florida will likely draft in the top 3 picks overall of this years draft, finishing 3rd from last in the league.

Offseason opinion soon to come, including potential draft plans, ideas for free agency, positives and negatives of the season.
