NHL playoff preview: Anaheim Ducks vs. Nashville Predators – game 5

Cam Fowler is coming off a great performance Wednesday night in Nashville. If he can duplicate it tonight, the Preds will be in deep trouble.

TV – TSN, RIS (HD), Prime Ticket (HD), FS-Ten (HD), Versus

Puck drop – 7:00 PT, 10:00 ET

Season series – Predators won 3-1

Series score – Tied at two wins each

Here are the projected lines for the Ducks.

** Returns from suspension

Bobby Ryan ** – Ryan Getzlaf – Corey Perry

Jason Blake – Saku Koivu – Teemu Selanne

Matt Beleskey – Brandon MacMillan – Brad Winchester

Andy Sutton – Todd Marchant – George Parros

Expected scratches: Dan Sexton, Kyle Chipchura, Nick Deschamps, Josh Green, Peter Holland, Patrick Maroon, Kyle Palmieri, & Jarkko Ruutu due to suspension.

Lubomir Visnovsky – Toni Lydman

Francois Beauchemin – Cam Fowler

Luca Sbisa – Sheldon Brookbank

Expected scratches: Andy Sutton & Andreas Lilja, Mat Clark, & Nate Guenin

Ducks to watch out for:

Corey Perry – When you tally eight points (2G, 6A) in four playoff games, you kind of have to be on the list.

Teemu Selanne – Five goals, four games. Enough said.

Cam Fowler – He has four points (1G, 3A) and a +3 rating through just four games, meanwhile playing big minutes.

Predators to watch out for:

Sergei Kostitsyn – He is arguably their best, and most skilled, forward. If the Predators come away with a victory, he will likely be a large part of it.

Joel Ward – He is one of the most underrated players in the league. He brings it on both ends of the ice, and will need to do so tonight.

Pekka Rinne – Rinne needs to bounce back after a rough performance Wednesday. If the Predators want to win tonight in Anaheim, he will need to be on his ‘A’ game.

Ducks – 4 / Predators – 2
