2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 2: Philadelphia Flyers Possible 2nd Round Opponents

By mikesantabarbera
The Philadelphia Flyers didn’t make it look easy, but got the job done in 7 games against the Buffalo Sabres. Now, they move onto the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Who will they face? That’s still to be determined.
Who's Next for the Orange and Black?

Possible Opponents:

Tampa Bay Lightning, Pittsburgh Penguins, Boston Bruins

– The Flyers will play the Boston Bruins if they defeat the Montreal Canadiens in Game 7, Wednesday night.

– If Montreal defeats Boston, the Flyers will play the winner of the Pittsburgh Penguins/Tampa Bay Lightning Game 7.

So, the Flyers could match-up with the Tampa Bay Lighting, a team they had trouble with in the regular season. A date with the Crosby and Malkin-less Pittsburgh Penguins. Or a rematch with the Boston Bruins, who would, no doubt, be looking for revenge.
