Richardson, Martinez, Simmonds, and Lewis are no brainers. Poni is a maybe due to his size and effectiveness if he will consistently finish his checks ala Dustin Brown. All others need to go to give some of the other prospects a chance to move up and get more NHL experience.

Hopefully, some of the new players will also bring some speed, effort and toughness that was missing from many of the veteran players on the Kings. I do not want to see another playoff series again next year with players such as Williams and Penner not finishing their checks and leaving players wide open in the slot. I know that Williams was hurt, but he played the same style before the injury. Penner just needs to get in better shape and he will be fine.
