Player Review: Bruno Gervais
Bruno Gervais has been a New York Islanders staple on the blue line for the past few seasons, but after this past year he may be on his way out.
Gervais struggled on defense, going minus 14, and was no help on offense with no goals and only six assists. All of this was over a span of 53 games.
Gervais missed quite a few games this season with a variety of injuries, including one he sustained while fighting Colin White.
Gervais is only 26-years-old, but already has a lot of experience at the NHL level. That being said he has not been the most productive Islander on the ice and if the Isles either bring up one of their young stars or make a move for a veteran Gervais could be the odd man out.
