Matt Moulson is one of the two iron-men on the New York Islanders roster, having appeared in all 82 games last season. Moulson has actually now done this the past two years for the Isles.
Besides being able to stay healthy, Moulson brings a lot more to the table. He increased both his goals and assists this past season, up to 31 and 22. This put him tied for second on the team with P.A. Parenteau.
Moulson has been yet another great story, with limited time in the NHL before coming to the Islanders. Now he has had two great seasons with the Isles and has developed some of the best chemistry in the league with John Tavares.
I think the Islanders will be expecting more big things from Moulson next season, and if they can trade for or sign a top winger then the Tavares Moulson line may become one of the best in the league.
