NHL shuts down Vancouver’s plan to sell parade rights
Well, years of planning parades only to be knocked out by the Chicago Blackhawks don’t seem to be stopping the Vancouver Canucks.
Vancouver, who can win the Stanley Cup tonight with a win in Game 6 against the Bruins, apparently tried to sell the broadcast rights to their victory parade. That plan was quickly rejected by the NHL.
No word on whether the Canucks have blamed Tim Thomas for this yet. They’re most certainly whining, though.
