Dodgers’ James Loney Wants to Join Los Angeles Kings on the Ice

Dodgers first baseman James Loney expressed a desire to take to the ice with the Los Angeles Kings in a post on the website MayorsManor.com.

The site interviewed the Houston native before “Kings Night” was held at Dodger Stadium last week.

From Mayors Manor:

“‘I want to come and shoot some goals,’ Loney exclaimed with a huge smile and eyes wide open. ‘…I want to put some gear on.’”

As the story continued, he seemed to realize perhaps he should play it safe but that he did not really want to.

“Maybe I can just be a goalie or something, just kind of move around back there. But, I want to get down and dirty with those guys.”
