By Johnny Machurek

The Blueshirts’ first round pick, 15th overall J.T. Miller continues to shine as a member of Team USA.  After falling 4-1 to Sweden just one day before Team USA beat Team Finland 4-1.

Miller added an empty-netter with 1:28 left in the third on an assist from Florida Panthers prospect Rocco Grimaldi.  Miller now has three goals in five games at the USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp.  Along with his goal, Miller was called for roughing twice in the first period at 16:30 and 18:25.

Despite giving up an early goal at the 1:39 mark in the first period and going 0-6 on the power play Team USA was able to win big.  The camp will conclude tomorrow when Team USA will face Team Sweden in Lake Placid, NY at 1 pm EST.  Miller will try to survive the December cut and with his play he looks to have a spot on the team.
