Toronto Maple Leafs Player Review (Pre-season Edition)

Today I am looking at three forwards that will have an impact on whether that Toronto Maple Leafs reach to playoffs, or fall short again.

Tim Connolly
1 – Where is he going to help out?
Connolly is going to help out line mate Phil Kessel score more goals. This is one thing that I am looking forward to this season for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
2 – Where can he improve?
Connolly staying healthier, so that the Maple Leafs can get the most production out of him, over the next two seasons.
3 – My projections!
Connolly will be back at his 50+ point mark.

Clarke MacArthur
1 – Where is he going to help out?
His offensive and positioning versatility, is what I like about MacArthur the most.
2 – Where can he improve?
He should use his body more on the ice, as well as improve his endurance so that he can give a quality performance every time he steps on the ice.
3 – My projections!
MacArthur is a streaky player, but I will lock him in for another 60 points this season. He is worth starting spot in your fantasy leagues.

Joffrey Lupul
1 – Where is he going to help out?
Great at finding the right spots on the ice in the offensive zone, this goes along with the scoring mentality he has.
2 – Where can he improve?
I tend to notice that his skating skills are a bit sluggish compared to his line mates. Lupul is also another streaky player; he needs to be more consistent game in and game out.
3 – My projections!
For Lupul’s first full season as a Maple Leaf, I have him at 50 points and hopefully 20 goals, but this all depends on his health.
