Canucks to return home soon
After a tough Eastern road trip to start the season – one that included a three-games-in-four-nights stretch that ended Thursday in Detroit – the Vancouver Canucks have just one more road tilt before they can settle in at home for awhile.
The Canucks – who have a 1-2-1 record to start the year – play the Edmonton Oilers Saturday night in Edmonton, but then have three consecutive home dates: Tuesday vs. the Rangers; Thursday against the Nashville Predators and Saturday afternoon when the Minnesota Wild come to town.
And for those worrisome fans concerned with the Canucks record through four games, consider this: Their current 1-2-1 mark is exactly the same as their record through four games last year, and that turned out pretty good (until Game 7 vs. Boston, anyway).
