The Vancouver Canucks clobbered the Calgary Flames 5-1 at Rogers Arena on Sunday. Roberto Luongo made his 1st start since sustaining an undisclosed upper-body injury on Nov.13 against the New York Islanders. Luongo would make 21 saves in the game. Chris Higgins and David Booth both had a goal and two assists. They had power-play goals from Daniel Sedin and Kevin Bieksa and Jannik Hansen also added a goal. Mason Raymond, who returned to the lineup would get an assist. This is his first game since he suffered a vertebrae compression fracture in the Stanley Cup finals. The only Calgary Flame to score a goal in the game was Alex Tanguay. Roman Horak and Rene Bourque would get assists on the goal. The Canucks have won 10 of their last 12 games against Calgary.
