World Juniors: O Canada: Team Canada 5 Czech Republic 0

By Jonathan Sexauer

I have watched a lot of hockey games over the years, NHL, IIHF, Olympics, College, Juniors and all the sort, but I must say. This Team Canada victory has to be one of my favourite games that I have ever watched, and the best game that I have watched for a while.

Mark stone is one great player, and he will have an excellent career for the Winnipeg Jets. While I was overjoyed that Team Canada won of course, but the main focus on this great game.

For the majority of the game, the game was either tied or Canada had a 1-0 lead. The play was back and forth, with great goaltending on both sides, both for Canada and for the Czech Republic.

As was expected, Czech goaltender Petr Mrazek was given the Player of the Game award, despite giving up five goals, for being able to keep the Czech Republic in the game.

Team Canada’s next game is today against Team Denmark at 18h00/20h00 (MST/EST).
