Tyler Bozak about a week away before returning

By Jeff Zeffer

Toronto Maple Leafs center Tyler Bozak is still about a week away before returning to the line-up. Bozak has been out with a shoulder injury since the December 29th game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Tim Connolly, Mikhail Grabovski, Nazem Kadri and David Steckel have been the players to keep everything in order at the center position, during Bozak’s absence. Maple Leafs have done well since Bozak’s injury, with a 3-1 record.

I imagine Darryl Boyce will be the player, who will be sent down to the Toronto Marlies upon Bozak’s return.

The Maple Leafs are heading into a home and home stand against the Buffalo Sabres which starts tonight at the Air Canada Center and ends on Friday in Buffalo.
